MISSION STATEMENT
Blue Cliff College is committed to using its human and physical resources to provide services facilitating personal growth, professional development and a sense of responsibility to our students.
The primary purpose of Blue Cliff College is to help students develop a high level of competency, which is accomplished through the pursuit, assimilation, and dissemination of knowledge in academic programs.
The most compelling purpose of the college is to prepare the students to function proficiently in a competitive society in the career of their choice and to create within them an awareness of
professional and social responsibilities, along with an appreciation of principles of ethical conduct.

Our Philosophy is to inspire students to strive for excellence and to achieve maximum personal potential.
Blue Cliff encourages each student to aspire to be the best he or she can be in academic, business, social, professional, and personal endeavors. Whatever the academic interest, we strive to provide the best education possible. Our emphasis on curriculum, low student-teacher ratio, and practical experience will ensure that the Blue Cliff graduate has been meticulously prepared.

HISTORY
The College: Past and Present
Blue Cliff College was founded in 1987 with the goal of becoming one of the most respected and innovative massage therapy training centers in the nation. In June of 1989, the College received its Proprietary School License. In 1998, the College was proud to receive accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology, ACCSCT (now known as Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The first Blue Cliff campus location was in New Orleans and campuses were soon established in Lafayette and Shreveport, Louisiana and, Gulfport, Mississippi. In 2007, a new campus opened in Alexandria, Louisiana. In 2000, Blue Cliff College - Gulfport became an ACCSCT-accredited Massage Therapy school in Mississippi.
In August of 1999, Education Management, Inc. (EMI) purchased the Blue Cliff College system. In 2005, a campus was opened in Houma, Louisiana, as a branch of Blue Cliff College-Metairie. Also in 2005, EMI added the White River School of Massage (later renamed Blue Cliff College) in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to its family of career schools as a branch of Blue Cliff College-Shreveport.
In 2005, Blue Cliff College began the process of program diversification, to include such programs as Medical Assisting, and in 2007 Cosmetology programs were implemented in four schools.
In 2008, Quad Partners acquired EMI.
Blue Cliff College has a history of offering community service to cities in our communities. Some events the College has participated in include: the Crescent City Classic 10K race, the Breast Cancer Walk, the American Cancer Society and the Cajunman Triathlon, Tulane and Nicholls State Universities athletic programs, and the Mardi Gras Marathon. The College also participates in various hospital health fairs, such as Oschner's Medical Foundation.
The institution reflects a commitment to academic and hands-on excellence in all training programs offered at Blue Cliff College.

FACILITIES
The Blue Cliff College campuses include classrooms for lecture, technique, computer and lab classes, as well as, administrative offices and break areas. Equipment at each campus is appropriate for the programs offered and classroom instruction. Depending on the campus and programs offered, equipment can include, but is not limited to, massage tables and chairs, hydrocollators, skeletons, charts, massage tools, TV/VCRs, ECG machines, overhead projectors, microscopes, crime-scene equipment.
Louisiana
Alexandria: The Blue Cliff College-Alexandria campus is housed in a 23,225 square foot facility. There are 12 lecture classrooms, a computer lab with 20 Internet-accessible computers, two massage therapy technique labs and three fully equipped medical labs. The massage therapy technique rooms also serve as a clinic facility serving the public and the cosmetology clinic houses 30 work stations for students.
The facility also houses a campus store, a lounge area for students, a lounge area for faculty and a resource room with four internet-accessible computers, books, videos and periodicals. The computers provide access to the the Ebrary™ on-line collection of resources. Instructors have access to overhead projectors, LCD projectors and TV/VCR/DVD technology.
Houma: The Blue Cliff College-Houma campus is housed in a 20,000 square foot facility. There are 13 lecture classrooms, one computer lab with 24 Internet-accessible computers, two massage therapy technique labs with 12 work stations and 2 fully-equipped medical assisting clinical labs. The massage therapy technique rooms also serve as a clinic facility serving the public and the cosmetology clinic houses 30 work stations for students.
The facility also houses a campus store, a lounge area for students, a lounge area for faculty and a resource room with five internet-accessible computers, books, videos and periodicals. The computers provide access to the Ebrary™ on-line collection of resources. Instructors have access to overhead projectors, LCD projectors and TV/VCR/DVD technology.
Lafayette: The Blue Cliff College-Lafayette campus is located on two floors and occupies 10,000 square feet which includes three lecture classrooms, a resource center with eight Internet-accessible computers, two massage therapy technique labs with twelve work stations and a clinic/technique room with 18 work stations.
The facility also houses a campus store, a lounge area for students, and a copy room for faculty. The resource center provides access to the Ebrary™ on-line collection of resources. Instructors have access to overhead projectors, LCD projectors, and TV/VCR technology.
Metairie: The Blue Cliff College-Metairie campus is located in a 22,000 square foot two story, stand-alone facility in the Greater New Orleans area. There are five lecture classrooms, two computer labs with 40 Internet-accessible computers, three massage therapy technique labs and two fully equipped medical assisting clinical labs. The massage therapy technique rooms also serve as a clinic facility serving the public. There is also a dental assisting lab with an x-ray room with x-ray equipment and a lab designed for a pharmacy technician program.
The facility also houses a campus store, a lounge area for students, a lounge area for faculty and a library with ten internet-accessible computers, books, videos and periodicals. Computers provide access to the Ebrary™ on-line collection of resources. Instructors have access to overhead projectors, LCD projectors and TV/VCR/DVD technology. There is ample parking for students and staff.
Shreveport: The Blue Cliff College-Shreveport campus is housed in a near 20,000 square foot facility. The campus has two fully equipped technique rooms and eight lecture rooms. We offer a multi-station computer lab and a Medical Assisting program clinical lab featuring equipment appropriate for learning. We offer a fully equipped cosmetology lab providing a simulated salon environment with 22 working stations. Our massage therapy technique rooms provide a relaxing clinical environment for student therapy services offered to the public.
The Shreveport campus offers an on-campus store for students and the public featuring massage supplies, books, uniforms, medical assisting supplies, as well as a variety of aromatherapy and spa products. The Shreveport facility also offers a student lounge area and a kitchen for students' convenience. For those requiring a quieter place to relax and study we have a library with four Internet-accessible computer stations and Ebrary™ access to additional databases and resources.
Mississippi
Gulfport: The Blue Cliff College-Gulfport campus is conveniently located in an 18,000 square foot building that contains six lecture rooms, one computer lab with 20 computers, two massage therapy technique labs, a hydrotherapy lab, a spa level cosmetology lab with skin and nail clinics. The College will also provide weekly clinics for the public in massage therapy and cosmetology. The facility also houses a lounge area for students, a retail area, and a learning resource center, including an electronic library, books and periodicals.
The electronic library provides access to the Ebrary™ and more than 30,000 full-text, digital books and other authoritative content from more than 220 leading publishers. In addition, a comprehensive periodical resource that encompasses 39 million database records, with an intuitive search interface is available. This source includes access to over 9,200 titles; archived file coverage from 1980 to 1989 wire services.
Arkansas
Fayetteville: Blue Cliff College-Fayetteville is housed in two free standing buildings with a total of approximately 15,000 square feet in convenient commercial locations. The main campus located on N. College Avenue, a main thoroughfare in Fayetteville, houses five lecture classrooms, two medical laboratory simulations, a library and seven administrative offices. The main campus encompasses approximately 9,000 square feet and includes a fully enclosed atrium for students to enjoy as an outside break area. The satellite facility located on Hiram Davis Place provides nearly 6,000 square feet of space that includes lecture classrooms and technique classrooms which feature a cork flooring that is warm to the touch and softly cushions the feet and spine. There are indoor and outdoor student break areas. The massage therapy technique rooms also serve as a clinic facility serving the public.
The facilities also house campus stores and resource rooms with five Internet-accessible computers, books, videos and periodicals. On-campus libraries include a wide selection of books relating to the curriculums as well as Internet access to the Ebrary™. The massage therapy and medical equipment is industry standard and includes, but is not limited to, massage tables and chairs, hydrocollaters, autoclave, examination tables, dialysis machines, skeletons, charts, massage tools, white boards, TVs and VCRs, training videos, and overhead projectors.

ACCREDITATIONS
All Blue Cliff Colleges are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). This national accreditation allows Blue Cliff Colleges to access Title IV Federal Aid offered by the United States Department of Education and to provide these grants and loans to qualified applicants in various programs.
Approvals, Licenses, and/or Affiliations: Individual Blue Cliff Colleges located in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi also have separate associations with many different types of state organizations, boards, commissions, and/or agencies and may be affiliated with one or more of the following:
